What is Pre-Order?
Pre-Order is a method of ordering an item (in this context, a book) that will be published in the future, is out of stock, or is not in our collection.
How is the pre-order process done?
It is done through the following process:
- You fill out the Pre-Order & Tracking form for the book you want.
- We search for the book title based on the information you provide. Tracking is done from the relevant supplier/publisher.
- We offer you to order the book via email. If you agree to the offer, you will need to clarify the pre-order payment as a guarantee of purchase.
- We will place the order with the relevant party.
- The book will be sent to the delivery address you specified.
- Done
If the book is overseas, can you get it for me?
Of course, but depending on your location and shipping costs, it may take a long time and cost a lot. We will try to source it in Malaysia first and organize the lowest cost order offer.
Do you charge extra for pre-ordered books?
For the purpose of a win-win situation, we only charge an additional 10% fee for the book search & order process according to the price offered by the external supplier. Example: Book cost – RM45.00 (including shipping cost from the supplier) + RC Additional Fee (10% Fee) = Actual Cost – RM49.50 only. (Free shipping will be offer to you!)
Does it take a long time?
Depending on the location of the book, the tracking process, the price quote with the third party publisher/supplier and the pre-order offer to you, it may take between 5 to 14 days or more. Books that are to be published have a certain lead time and may take longer than stated.
Pre-Order Tips
- Please do your own research on the book title you are looking for and compare from several sources, especially regarding book costs, shipping costs, formats and editions. You can recommend us the source you choose as our reference.
- Beware of scams that offer cheap prices (unbelievably cheap!) because they may be scams.
- Check the details of the book you want because it may differ from the actual title. (Did you know that the probability of the same book title but different authors is high). The safest method, check using the ISBN number!
