Sejarah kecil tetapi signifikan RedCili Media sebenarnya bermula pada tahun 2005 apabila ia diasaskan sebagai satu entiti perniagaan secara fizikal dengan nama awal sebagai Suria 2 Book Stop dan memulakan perniagaan di Kedah, Malaysia. Pada masa itu, dengan teknologi dan sumber yang terhad; pihak syarikat juga mengambil inisiatif untuk membangunkan perniagaan dalam talian dengan menawarkan pembelian buku melalui internet. Namun nasib tidak menyebelahi kami kerana kami terpaksa memberhentikan operasi atas sebab yang tidak dapat dielakkan.

Namun ia tidak mematahkan semangat pengasas untuk meneruskan konsep perniagaan ini kerana cintakan buku dan ilmu. Selepas beberapa kajian dijalankan untuk meneroka prospek perniagaan dalam talian, RedCili Media ditubuhkan sebagai kesinambungan semangat itu. Selain itu, pelbagai aplikasi dan peranti yang menyokong transformasi perniagaan melalui eDagang mula menguasai pasaran dan menyokong usaha ini. Oleh itu, syarikat itu memulakan perniagaan secara tidak rasmi melalui pemasaran media sosial dan platform pihak ketiga selain menguji respons pelbagai pelanggan. Daripada maklum balas yang diterima, syarikat yakin dengan prospek perniagaan ini dan memutuskan untuk mencipta laman web eDagang sebagai platform rasmi.

Sehubungan itu, laman web RedCili Media telah dilancarkan pada 2020 dengan menggunakan nama RedCili sebagai medium, jenama dan domain rasmi. Walau bagaimanapun, sekali lagi penjenamaan semula perniagaan kami agak terganggu oleh pandemik Covid 19 di seluruh dunia dan beberapa isu penggodaman yang menjejaskan beberapa projek yang dirancang. Beberapa rancangan terpaksa ditangguhkan atau diubah suai dan pelaksanaan kerja berlaku pada kadar yang terhad. Bagaimanapun, dengan berkat doa, bahaya wabak yang semakin pudar dan penilaian semula pendekatan terhadap keselamatan siber, syarikat mula mentakrifkan semula pendekatannya. Antaranya mengambil prospek bekerja dari rumah sebagai kaedah yang lebih menjimatkan dalam melaksanakan tugas, menjana kreativiti dan sebagai satu inisiatif kepada staf. Keselamatan siber dipertingkatkan dengan melanggan penyedia pengehosan web yang lebih bereputasi dengan tahap keselamatan yang tinggi.

Penggunaan nama RedCili adalah gabungan perkataan dalam bahasa Inggeris dan Melayu yang mencerminkan semangat membara dan kemesraan kami untuk memenuhi inspirasi dan objektif menerusi buku. Perkataan media menggambarkan kesediaan kami untuk mengaplikasikan pelbagai kaedah penerbitan dalam bentuk media untuk mengembangkan ilmu kepada masyarakat. Oleh itu, ia menjadi platform yang menyediakan pelanggan akan pengalaman membeli-belah/penerbitan dalam talian yang mudah, selamat dan pantas melalui pembayaran yang teguh dan sokongan menyeluruh dari segi bahan bacaan dan item atas permintaan. Ini termasuklah buku, bahan elektronik, reka bentuk kulit buku, templat dan reka bentuk web dsb.

Logo rasmi RedCili Media memaparkan komitmen kami yang membara demi perkembangan ilmu. Secara simbolik ia juga merupakan manifestasi keazaman pasukan kami untuk memberikan perkhidmatan yang terbaik untuk semua. RedCili Media akan terus berkembang dan berusaha untuk memenuhi keperluan pasaran intelektual dan perkhidmatan reka bentuk seperti yang disasarkan.

  • 1 : Poor: Depicts a book that has been well worn. Any missing maps or plates still need attention. This copy may be dirty, scratched, stained or spotted and may have loose joints, hinges, pages, etc. Worn and browned paper throughout the book.
