As stated, the shipping cost rate will be automatically calculated during the confirmation and payment process. Generally, the shipping cost will be based on the weight of the selected item and the delivery location. Please see the table below for a reference of the Equal rate which we set as 'default' during the order confirmation and payment process.

The Equal Rate is an average rate taken from the total shipping cost based on the weighting of the total rates offered by all courier services. If you choose to use the Equal Rate on your order, We will choose any courier service including those not listed as the shipping agent for your order.

The Equivalent cost rate as stated above is flexible and depends on the current situation/rate. We reserve the right to change the rate without any further notice. If there is any difference between the Equivalent rate and the actual rate, the remaining rate will be subsidized by Us or credited to your RC Wallet. For example, if your order default rate is RM6.50 but the actual courier service rate is RM6.30 then RM0.20 will be credited to your RC Wallet. If the rate is more than RM6.50 (not more than RM1.00) it will be borne by Us as subsidy.

You may choose the rates set by other courier services as displayed during the order confirmation and payment process. You are advised to read and understand the terms and conditions and delivery information provided by the relevant courier service.

Our Used & Rare Books are selected based on book condition, popularity, best-selling, year of publication and demand. As such, they may be slightly worn but are still in good, readable condition. All pages and covers are intact. Spines may show signs of wear, browning, torn pages, writing marks from previous owners, etc. Please review the following rating criteria to determine the condition of each book where applicable.
  • 0 : Like New: This book is in the same pristine condition as when it was published. 
  • 8-9 : Very Good - This book is near Like New, but not fresh. The book may have been opened and read, but there are no defects to the book, jacket or pages.
  • 6-7 : Good - Describes a book that shows some minor signs of wear – but no tears – to either the binding or paper. Worn and yellowed paper.
  • 4-5 : Fair (G): Describes an average used book that has all pages or leaves present. Worn and browned paper less than 50%.
  • 2-3 : Worn - A worn book that has complete text pages but may be missing endpapers, half-titles, etc. More than 50% worn and browned paper.
  • 1 : Poor: Depicts a book that has been well worn. Any missing maps or plates still need attention. This copy may be dirty, scratched, stained or spotted and may have loose joints, hinges, pages, etc. Worn and browned paper throughout the book.
